Bandas Single D White Rug by GAN Rugs
Bandas Single D White runner is one of ten elongated rugs that make up the Bandas collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola for GAN Rugs. Its design, which seems to arise spontaneously and randomly on a grid, is embroidered using black and yellow wool.
This embroidery is done by hand and with crochet needles. The piece is also accented with an orange trim.

Each of the Bandas Single Rugs is reinforced with a removable flat piece of metal in its corners so that they do not move or curl up when attached to other runners. Each one includes the velcro strips needed to connect it to other models.
Bandas is handcrafted using two types of textiles and techniques: a fine fabric, made on a manual loom, serves both to cover the modules and poufs and as a base for the runners themselves, on which the details are hand-embroidered by artisans from India.
