The designer, Maria Mengual, wanted to represent a graphic balance between all the elements of the rug. The result is an elegant contemporary rug with an ancestral style, achieved through simplified patterns and a neutral color palette. It is made using the kilim technique, an ancestral method that only works the weft of fibers that cover the warp of the carpet threads.
