Bandas Single C Turquoise Rug by GAN Rugs
Bandas Single C Turquoise runner is one of ten elongated rug designs that make up the Bandas collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola for GAN Rugs.
Its design, which seems to arise randomly and spontaneously on a grid, is embroidered by hand and with crochet needles using turquoise blue and black wool. It also has a striking orange colored border.

Each of the Bandas Single Rugs is reinforced with a removable flat piece of metal in its corners so that they do not move or curl up when attached to other runners. Each one includes the velcro strips needed to connect it to other models.
Bandas is handcrafted using two types of textiles and techniques: a fine fabric, made on a manual loom, serves both to cover the modules and poufs and as a base for the runners themselves, on which the details are hand-embroidered by artisans from India.
