Waan Black & White Rug by Gan Rugs
Although it looks like a knotted rug, in reality this design has been made on a loom. It is the Black & White design from our Waan collection, made with very thick bicolor yarns created by twisting together black and white wool threads. The use of these thick yarns on a loom results in this innovative fabric that looks like a succession of knots. It is available in three sizes.

Born from an experimental process, the Waan collection masks, behind its apparent simplicity, a novel textile technique. This type of hand-woven fabric is the result of the work and research of Dutch designer Dienke Dekker. The collection also includes a series of poufs and cushions, accented with fringed edges. GAN spaces are collections meticulously constructed from innovative concepts and artisanal production methods. Suggestive proposals that, stemming from a rug, are capable of bringing to life a whole family of modules and accessories with which to design an environment or “space”. A set of designs linked together, designed to project stimulating and contemporary atmospheres with an open, flexible and casual configuration.
