Waan Taupe Rug by Gan Rugs
This is the Taupe rug from our Waan collection, a design with an innovative pattern that simulates a knotted surface. However, this perception is only an illusion, since the rug is the rug is made on a loom using very thick bicolor yarns, generated by intertwining wool threads in contrasting tones. Surprisingly, the use of these voluminous yarns looks like a succession of knots. This model is made with white wool and two shades of brown. It is available in three sizes.

Born from an experimental process, the Waan collection masks, behind its apparent simplicity, a novel textile technique. This type of hand-woven fabric is the result of the work and research of Dutch designer Dienke Dekker. The collection also includes a series of poufs and cushions, accented with fringed edges. GAN spaces are collections meticulously constructed from innovative concepts and artisanal production methods. Suggestive proposals that, stemming from a rug, are capable of bringing to life a whole family of modules and accessories with which to design an environment or “space”. A set of designs linked together, designed to project stimulating and contemporary atmospheres with an open, flexible and casual configuration.
