The collection made up of 20 models symbolizes a mixture of apparent contradictions that complement each other. Thanks to the simplification of the classic motifs for geometric ones and the reduction of colors, Mélange becomes a contemporary revision of the Kilim. An exercise in aesthetic rationalization that preserves the ancestral manual production technique of Pakistan. The overlapping of models creates a giant patchwork achieving a plus in warmth and decoration. In this technique, the wool is manipulated with a gun-like tool with which the threads are injected onto a fabric previously stretched on a frame. Finally, a fabric is applied as a lining, giving it a quality finish, with high density and durability. To achieve this, nanimarquina and Hahn intensively studied the specifics of the Kilim weaving technique in search of new ways to distribute color. "
