Bandas Single B Orange Rug by GAN Rugs
The B Orange runner is one of ten elongated rug designs that make up the Bandas collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola for GAN Rugs.
Its geometrical pattern is based on rectangles of varying sizes, arranged as if they were crosswalks, and embroidered by hand and with crochet needles using orange threads on a base of neutral color.

Each of the Bandas Single Rugs is reinforced with a removable flat piece of metal in its corners so that they do not move or curl up when attached to other runners. Each one includes the velcro strips needed to connect it to other models.
Bandas is handcrafted using two types of textiles and techniques: a fine fabric, made on a manual loom, serves both to cover the modules and poufs and as a base for the runners themselves, on which the details are hand-embroidered by artisans from India.
