Shade Palette 2 rug by Nanimarquina

The Shade Palette 2 rug belongs to the SHADE collection by Nanimarquina. A collection that is inspired by the magical moments of nature where colors blend and speak for themselves. Its designer Begüm Cana Özgür highlights: “it is a handcrafted flat-woven rug that generates an incredible diffusion of color in all senses. Its surface releases a feeling of tranquility and well-being that is balanced by the penetrating vibration of colors. This collection of exquisite simplicity includes a complex technical development to achieve the density, regularity and fluidity of the desired effect. Two gradients converge on the carpet, one vertical and the other horizontal in the same plane, using 6 shades as a transition. Shade is available in 4 degrading palettes: from turquoise to aubergine, from tile to Klein blue, from raspberry to forest green, and from gray to burnt garnet. In this technique, wool is manipulated with a gun-like tool with which the threads are injected onto a fabric previously tensioned on a frame. Finally, a fabric is applied as a lining giving it a quality finish, with high density and durability.
